Flavor is light but drinkable, and this may be my new favorite mass Mexican beer. Had in the airport in Mexico City. alvaro (3), Mexico does not count | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 8, 2008 dark one, good aroma, the best sold massively in every little store on every city Alcohoarder (26), Seattle, Washington, USA

Maltier, roastier and richer than any mass produced beer I’ve had in Mexico. A very nice effort from a major Mexican brewery. Remember to order the Obscura, not the Clara! Umoyk (12), , Mexico

After that it tastes like a malty sweet coke. Lots of caramel and sweetness. Still better than the clear beers. Nekronos (2265), Xalapa, Mexico

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 23, 2008 Appearance: dark copper color. Medium and rocky head with beige color.
Aroma: caramel malts, sugar and ripe-fruits smells.
Flavor: caramel malts start. Reminiscences of sugar, vanilla, dried-peaches and candy-oranges. Light dry final and not persistent. Intensive and lasting caramel and toast aftertaste. Some light metallic touch.
Palate: medium body with semi-oily texture. Medium carbonated.
Some unbalanced sweetness.
