Draft at brewery, late summer ’09: Nice copper hue. Toasty-bready malts were nice. Interesting aromas of flowers, herbs and some curious, clove-accented perfume. Fairly easy to drink and decent.

Jul 9, 2009 On tap a few weeks back in SLC. (Bayou). Color was orangeish/amber. Aroma of pale malt with a bit of earthiness and sweetness. Flavor was bready with a nice peppery hop finish. Solid for the style.

Jan 1, 2008 On tap at The Bayou. Pours a dark amber with a decent white frothy head. The aroma is mostly weak malts and fruit. The taste is pretty light; some sweet malts and grains, some hops, and a bit of roasted and fruit flavors. OK.

On Tap – Good Malty aroma with a slight hop. Amber in color with a deep rich lager flavor. Slight hops flavor was detected and this finished with a good crisp flavor and was a very good beer.

Jun 24, 2007 on tap-pours a white head and amber color. Aroma is hint of slightly sweet grain. Taste is slightly sweet caramel-grain/medium malt, secondary hops with slight bite. Medium body. OK carbonation.

Feb 20, 2007 Updated: Mar 7, 2007Draft pint at MacCools Layton, UT. Clear and light amber color, nice spicy aroma. 1.5 finger head. Small body, slight clove-vanilla flavor with malt, and nice hop balance. Interesting beer, might seem low-bodied due to the low alcohol content.

Feb 11, 2007 For a Utah lager, this is actually quite tolerable. Reminds me of Samuel Smith’s London Ale a little.

Golden coloured and hoppy. Crisp on the palate with a bitter malt finish.
