| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 24, 2008 Towering yellowish tinted head over clear golden beer; end of bottle yeasthaze. Vegetable nose, beets, green fruit, perfumed, gliding into sweet malts. Dull sweet flavour, with a slight but present spicy bitterness, faintly herbal as well. Warming up, faint reminiscences of DMS. Rather spritzy MF, bit overcarbonated, light body, rather slick. Dull. As befitting the "fair trade", IMHO. Bart (1648), Brussels, Belgium

Faintly woody herbal snout. Quite a creamy palate with some lacework. Refreshing strawberryish fruitiness, but an unconvincing bitter aftertaste. Lacks presence for the ABV, but better than the bruin.
