A dark brown coloured beer with no head. The aroma is sweet and boozy with some chocolate notes and sugar. The taste is also sweet with candy sugar notes. Very dubbelish really just with a sugary sweetness. Nice length. Actually a refined beer. JonMoore (1561), Loughborough, Leicestershire, England

Samentrekkend, alcoholisch mondgevoel. Bov (5455), Bienne, Switzerland

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jul 13, 2005 Dark amber color; nice head. Quite nice malty aroma. It tastes really like a homebrew stuff, with too much yeast impression; there is also a lot of caramel, it’s pretty dry. At the end the alcohol burns too much the tongue; the bitterness is high.
