Unclear medium yellow orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, toasted, grain metalic notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20091102]

Jul 30, 2009 Gravity at Zeitgeist Bier Mania Oktoberfest 08. Gold/yellow with a white head. Broadly in the Kolch style but not as clean tasting as the genuine articles from Cologne area. Nice pure lager malt base with spicey hops in the finish. A real treat in London.

May 3, 2009 chiara velata buona schiuma piuttosto persistente il nso non è ampio ma si avverte una leggera nota mielosa un po di frumento in bocca corpo medio non molta la nota maltate leggere fruschezza acidula forse data dal frumento pinale piacevolmente amaro piuttosto frizzante

Jun 30, 2008 From bottle at In de Wildeman. Pours cloudy deep golden with a big lacing head. Intense hoppy aroma, of hay mostly. Very bitter, like drinking grass; German Landbier gone extreme? Full-bodied, well-carbonated. dares to be different.

Bright yellow gold with a thin white head. Wheat tobacco and lemon, very weisse-like. Really fresh and tasty. Full on lemon in the finish.

May 17, 2008 From the barrel at Zeitgeist @ The Jolly Gardeners, Lambeth 16/5/08. Murky pale gold in colour with a decent, frothy white head. Aroma of herbs, sour apples and grassy hops. Flavour was slightly bitter, with barnyard yeast, wheat and a bitter, slightly acidic finish. A bit hard to categorise, but drinkable.
