A red beer with sediment (even though it is best before 2063) floating around and hints of a fast disappearing head. The aroma is of flowers, lavender, and sugar. The flavor is of sugar and yet sour - but the sourness tastes more like the beer is too old, than that it has been wildfermented - weird. I’d say this was too old.

(Bottle 25 cl) Light brown, no head to speak of. A lot less sweet than other Faros I’ve had. This has a very pronounced, underlying lambic-sourness. Spicy with some citrus, but also apple-notes - and a sophisticated vinegary touch. But actually very balanced and quenching. Stronger than a typical Faro - Frank boon also calls this a "Dubbele Faro". 091197

25 cL bottle, thanks to BelJohansen and thewolf for this treat. Pours cloudy brown with a lacing white head. Oxidised malt aroma. Oxidised malt flavour with a surprisingly dry malt base. Light smooth malt and almost chocolate flavoured finish.

Nut brown. Short, sweet taste. Reminiscent of a British mild.

Bottle, 5%. Sweet, acidic and vinous aroma with some fruit/berries. Dark amber colour, seems clear. Sparkling. Small white head. The flavour is citric and slightly sweet. Moldy with a rough, old tasting bitterness. Thin mouthfeel. Not too pleasant at first, but it gains a little after a while.

Deep amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is candysugarish with some wood and sour fruits. Flavour is mostly candysugar and some wood. Quite sweet, but still not too sweet.
