Jun 24, 2009 Very dark brown. No head. Candyish nose - toffeeish and almost liquoricey. Quite sweet and sugary up front with some caramelized notes. Yet, some barnyardy complexity remains. It’s very drinkable.

Jun 17, 2009 Bottle, WSF. Deep dark garnet color with scant head, not flat. Dark fruity aroma of prune, other dark, dried fruits, berries, and lots of sugar. Nice palate. Lots of lingering sugars. Very sweet and dessert-like but not in a bad way. Has some wood, and loads of loads, layers and layers of sweet fruit-flavored candy. Not exactly a sophisticated beer but is fun.

May 3, 2009 Bottle. Clear orange colour with a creamy white head. Rich complex aroma and taste of fruits, yeast and caramel with sugary/sour notes. A faro on the sweet side, but good.

May 2, 2009 Bottle. Creamy white good mostly deminishing head. Brown.amber colour. Moderate malty and heavy yeasty aroma. Heavy sweet and light bitter great flavor. Long wonderfull finish. Creamy palate. Very nice.

May 1, 2009 Brown coloured, reddsh mote. Almost clear. Has a lasting, white head. Aroma lightly acid, moderate sweet, caramel. Flavor is heavy sweet, and acid finish, sweet too. Syrup texture.
