Sweet raspberry and cherry, sour aroma. Sour and slightly acidic raspberry flavor. Aftertaste is slightly sweetier. Medium-bodied and fizzy carbonated palate. donrajin (233), Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, USA Sep 19, 2008 Damn fine framboise. Nice lambic backbone and plenty of raspberry flavors. A little more tart and less sweet as Lindemans. jerc (3217), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Sep 16, 2008 2008-09-12. Murky red-brown body, smallish beige head fades. (3+) Fruity aroma with tart light raspberry character, vinous notes, generic fruit, hints of cherries. Flavour is likewise, tart raspberry undertones, vinous vegetation notes. Average plus palate is lightly carbonated. Decent, pleasantly fruity. 2005 Vintage bottle, picked up on our Alberta trip I think. biggmike (413), Gulfport, Mississippi, USA Sep 16, 2008 Poured a reddish color with a big pinkish head that dissipated pretty quickly. Aroma was of sweet raspberries. Flavor was also dominated by the taste of raspberries. Has a bit of sourness to it. Mouthfeel is very light, had kind of a wine feel to it. A nice beer that is probably to sweet to have more than one.
