Musty aroma followed by the raspberry, I also thought of marzipan. Colour was a clear red with a pink head that lasted the drink. jdjuice (203), Japan
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 28, 2007 Pours cloudy reddish brown. Tart raspberry-y nose. Flavor is fairly sweet, raspberries, sufficient sourness. Nothing too complex, drinkable but pretty meh. TrefwoordPunk (556), Leiden, Netherlands
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 16, 2007 Bottle 37,5 cl (Crop 2005). Pours a clear purplish amber with a small fading white head and a sweet smell of raspberries and brown sugar. Taste is sweet to start with (raspberries with some brown sugar) and after that a nice sour taste comes kicking in and saves this lambic from tasting like a soft drink. A short and watered down finish. Nice lambic thewolf (5838), Kolding, Denmark

Pours a clear deep red, almost without any head. Aroma is sweet and very fruity, lots of winegums and raspberries. Well-rounded mouthfeel. Round flavour with oak, sweet fruit, barnyard and light tartness. Okay, but a little too boring. Borup (1360), Albertslund, Denmark
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 12, 2007 Bottle. Reddish colour with a big red head. Aroma and flavour of rapsberry with a sourness finish. Maria (6336), Thisted, Denmark
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 11, 2007 Bronze with a red hue and a huge head. Both aroma and flavour lets you know that this is a lambic, and the balance between the berry sourness and the ditto sweetness is very nice. But I’m so utterly and completely in love with Lindemans Framboise, so it’s difficult for any other Framboise to get the real high scores. 1528 EithCubes (2176), Indiana, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 6, 2007 Bottle, caged and corked in green glass. Sweet raspbrery nose. Purple-tinged pink pour with a pink/purple-tinged, beautiful lacing head. Taste is fruity, can almost taste the razz seeds, with a touch of mold and yeasty tang. Stronger, crisper carbonation than the kriek. Light sweetness, nowhere near cloying, with a light acidic sharpness and a touch of wood. Leathery dry aftertaste is nicer than the main course. Medium-fullish body. Well-crafted and well above average, but not superlative. naivepegasus (194), USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 1, 2007 375 ml bottle, poured into tumbler. Pours red with a finger of whitish-pink head. Odor is of raspberries with a hint of the alcohol. Sweet and tart, tastes just about exactly like raspberries. A nice, sweet refreshing lambic.
