Very pretty looking beer, dark opaque strawberry red, I was disappointed that zero head was produced not even a single bubble was floating on top of the beer however there was lots carbonation bubbling up from the bottom of the glass. The aroma was all natural smelling raspberries, very pleasant aroma however it was fairly mild, it could have been more aggressive for my liking. The taste reminded me of sparkling alcohol free fruit juice you give to your little cousins at Christmas. Mostly sour raspberries in the flavor that left a good tart after taste, this could have used more of a beer flavor for me almost no malt or yeast could be detected. Ok tasting, not artificial or insanely sweet but nothing I’ll ever go out of my way to try again."

Sweet, a little bitter, low body. Not as hearty or fulfilling as Lindeman’s Bottle at Total Wine, Ft. Lauderdale.

355ml bottle best before 06.03.2012 enjoyed 5.21.09. Pours a darker reddish/purple with a medium fizzy sudsy pinkish/purple head. Super strong fresh raspberry aroma, tons of sweet tart raspberries, really quite incredible, reminds me of raspberry bushes I had growing up. Flavor follows what the aroma alludes to, fresh pureed raspberries, this is like a raspberry soda, unbelievably not that sour, more of a fruit beer rivaling New Glarus. Sweet fresh raspberry flavor, seeds come to mind, mildly tart and sour, the acidity is really mellow for a lambic and really second fiddle to the sweetness. The sourness is most noticeable in the aftertaste, slightly dry finish. Extremely drinkable due to the light acidity. Some maltiness is noticeable after a while. Strong flavor but somewhat vacant in the finish. Medium bodied, lightly syrupy feeling with no stickiness, dull carbonation. If only there was some acidity to back up that amazing raspberry flavor... Yum!

Flaske: Hindbær i duften, meget karboneret. Krydret smag der også har en masse lagringsnoter som et gammelt bibliotek hvilket faktisk er ganske interessant. Fin øl.

Backlog night! Pours a deep rose color with a lasting thick medium white head with a pinkish tint. Perhaps the best retention I’ve ever seen on a lambic. The beer is full of effervescent bubbles cascading up from the bottom of the glass. The aroma is fresh raspberries with a light funkiness. The flavor is only very mildly sour but has plenty of wonderful raspberry flavor which is very sweet up front but this has a much longer dryness. There is just a mild funkiness and a sort of cheesy flavor. This is delicious but it’s a little one dimensional.
