(2002 crop, sampled 12/2004) Deep orangeish red color with a small, off-white head and lots of large, almost static yeast particles. Sweetish, not very strong, raspberry aroma with some sour cherry hints. Sweetish raspberry flavor at first, but quickly turns sourish and oaky, then back to sugary again towards the finish. Medium-bodied, slightly sugary palate with fizzy carbonation. Sticks to teeth. A decently enjoyable, not overly sweetened lambic.

Deep red, no head. Earthy rasberry nose. Sweet-sour rasberry flavor. Fresh, balanced lambic with oak notes. Sour aftertaste. Delicious and freshing beer.

Red/cherry color, quite small head. Sweetish rapsberry aroma. Flavor brings raspberry as well, but now in a more sourish way. Some sweeter notes in the finish. Nice body.

After the medium sized head died down, you might look at the deep cherry red colored body and mistake it for wine. Sweet and raspberry aromas. Body is smoothly carbonated, full of tart and sweet raspberry - not as sweet as some of this style. Ended dry, maybe some oaky notes, some funk around the edges - cool!

The raspberry was everywhere. Full bodied and sweet/tart. The malt played a perfect supporting role.

Big raspberry upon opening, then light skunky aroma. Sweet raspberry and candy. Slightly tart/dry sour finish. Red/pink in colour.Nice though balanced more towards the sweet than the tart side.

Bottle at the Delirium Cafe, Brussels. Nice orangey rose colour, with a faintly sour aroma. Earthy, fruit taste, and a hint of sourness that balances the sweetness well. I love Framboise generally and this is top stuff, served in a nice champagne flute.
