Sep 23, 2003 [Mine had the same name - different label and was only 5.0% ABV - is it the same beer?] A beutiful clear dark red beer with a beutiful pink head though fast disappearing. The aroma is very sweet with notes of cherries? in a framboise? and some sharp notes. The flavor starts rather sweet with good cherry notes (still weird in a framboise), but then the mold, vinegar, sharpness, and metal from the wild fermentation hits - running along the sides of the tongue. The balance between the sharpness and sweetness is unique. All in all a great beer.

Nov 3, 2006 Bottle (Vintage 2003). Hazy reddish color with a nice light red creamy head. Lots of berrys in aroma and taste. Quite sweet, fresh and a bit dry.

Jan 26, 2006 Bottled. Deep red colour, mediumsized reddish head. Aroma of raspberries and sourness. Flavour is sourish sweet with mild raspberry tones coming in, pleasantly balancing up the whole thing. A bit watery to the palate and nicely tickling carbonation.
