Mar 18, 2009 Cask at ZBF09. Mild acidic aroma, hint of fruit. Beautiful clear dark red colour. No head. The flavour is slightly sweet, some berry notes. Not sour, only a hint of acid. Berry bitterness in the finish. Quite a mild fruit lambik, but nice enough.

Pours clear dark red with almost no head. Aroma has light cherries, but there is not much there. Almost flat, just a flicker of carbonation, fine mouthfeel. Flavour is lightly tart, good cherries. A touch of sweetness, but otherwise nicely tart and dry.

Sep 30, 2008 Light reddish colour with no head.Nice light sour taste of raspberrys.Feels refreshing and well done one of the better Lambic beer.Well balanced and soft finish.

Aroma: like a fruit smoothie--very thick, bright pink, lots of floaties, including hairs from raspberries
Flavor: seedy, stemmy grassy raspberry flavors mixed with fresh mowed grass and "outdoors" in the summer
Palate: smooth, very creamy, nice raspberry afteraste, like eating a beer

Jun 16, 2008 Draught @ Weekend of Spontaneous Fermentation 2008. Muddy red with no head and tons of floaties. Aroma has discrete raspberry and fish notes. Sweet flavor with raspberry and off notes. This one went wrong.

Jun 3, 2008 Weekend of Spontaneous Fermentation 2008. Muddy and milky pink/red color... particles of raspberry left on the sides of the glass. Nose of grassy manure and skunky raspberries, along with fresh cut grass, cannabis, sweat, rubber, etc... Flavor is rich, creamed raspberries, which is really a surprise considering how this thing smelled... it actually tastes really, really good. Pure raspberry fruit pulp, very tart, and some cream as well, with a sort of yogurt sourness. Amazingly delicious even if it smells weird in one whiff and terrible in another and amazing in the next. It’s weird and I like it.

May 27, 2008 ZBF2008: From cask. Pours dark red, slight hazy and no head. Mild sweet raspberry. Flavour is dry raspberry, slight woody and sulphorish. Goes into a dry woody finish with a subdued fruity note.
