Jul 14, 2005 Draught (handpumped) at Akkurat. I had this several times during the Sour and Bitter Festival in Stockholm, May 2005. The colour varied from being clear deep dark red to looking really thick, unclear and milky. The aroma and the flavour are very fruity with notes of everything from fresh raspberries to exotic fruits like oranges, unripe mangos, kiwis and grapefruits. Extremely intense and flavourful with some serious sourness all around. It should be a death sin to blend and sweeten this nectar of the Gods.

Mar 6, 2004 (Draught - of course) Spectacular carmine-red beer, slightly hazy; very rozy head. Superb noes of fruit or raspberry coulis. Taste is fruit, fruit and more fruit - raspberry as never before. Quite sweet but pure fruit-sweetness. (Fruit)acidity comes after a few sips. it is quite well-bodied - surprising. One asks how much fruit is used here? The beer is made from old lambic only, plus a slight cherry addition for the colour. Unique - rush at it if ever you come across.

Jun 29, 2008 Aroma: fresh mowed grass, sweaty summer gardening body odor, pot, watermelons, some raspberries
Aroma: like a fruit smoothie--very thick, bright pink, lots of floaties, including hairs from raspberries
Flavor: seedy, stemmy grassy raspberry flavors mixed with fresh mowed grass and "outdoors" in the summer
Palate: smooth, very creamy, nice raspberry afteraste, like eating a beer

Very fresh raspberry aroma and lavour. Almost like a raspberry sorbet. Very refreshing. Quite rich in acidity as well with a slight hint of newly cut grass in the aftertaste. Wow!

Nov 15, 2009 Tap in The Rake. Looks so beautiful, crystal clear pink goodness, one of the best drinks iv ever seen. Aroma is fresh raspberry jam, lots of the nutty seed character, fairly tart and fresh, the lambic funk is tame. Taste is amazing, fresh raspberry flesh, lots of the seed nuttyness but its fresh and very appealing, the lambic is lightly restrained but thats not a problem as its soo refreshing and infinitly drinkable, slight carbonation is spitzery enough to keep you guessing. Outstanding stuff!

May 12, 2005 Updated: May 17, 2005Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm. Clear red, slightly hazy. Fresh raspberry aroma. CItric and intense with balanced acidity and concentrated raspberry flavour. Complex, yet refreshing. Probably the best beer made with raspberries.

May 21, 2005 (sampled draught at Akkurat, Stockholm) Clear red colour, small pink head. Fresh natural raspberry aroma. Dry, acidic flavour of raspberries, salt and herbs Rather tart finish of raspberries and grapfruit. Damn good.
