Nov 2, 2009 (Bottle, Akkurat, Stockholm. 2007 harvest) Deep burgundy red colour with frothy, pink head. Fruity, sourish nose with distinct notes of cherries and almonds. Fruity, slightly tart taste with cherries, almonds and red berries. Not quite as tart as the beers from Cantillon or 3 Fonteinen, but the sourness is extremely well balanced and lingers nicely with the cherries and almonds. Very tasty. Excellent kriek.

Oct 29, 2009 Bottled@Akkurat, Stockholm. Murky deep cherry red colour with small pinkish beige head. Aroma is rather tart cherry pips along with some mild wooen notes. Flavour is being quite much the same in a very nice balance. Refreshing.

Sep 20, 2009 [9/5/08] Bottle sample at Kulminator in Antwerp after LCRBM. 1983 bottle. Hazy red color with some pinkish foam. Aroma has some oxidation, but also lots of cherries, barnyard and cobwebs. Tart flavor with some cherry sweetness, light caramel notes, light cardboard hints, and funky brett. Medium-bodied. Great. 8/4/8/4/16=4
[9/6/08] Bottle at Verzekering Tegen De Grote Dorst in Eizeringen. 2007 bottle. Deep red-ruby color with a pink head. aroma full of fresh sour cherries, barnyard and lemony notes. Sour flavor, although not an aggresive sourness, with cherries, some citrus, and light sweeter tones. Medium-bodied. 8/4/8/4/16=4

Jun 23, 2009 Bottle. Blindtasting @ Thewolf. 1986 Vintage. Thanks Rene. Pours a clear golden/orange with a small bubbly head. Sweet and sour cherries. Fresh, earthy, sticky and extremely dry. A bit of caramel. Nearly perfect complex aroma. Well balanced. Ends dry. Ohh yeah!!!!
