12 oz. bottle. The aroma is dark ripe cherry; not sweet, but not sour. Just fresh. The color is a hazy reddish color. Unique. The off-white head quickly filmed. Medium bodied with creamy carbonation. The flavor is cherry, with underlying yogurt sort of sour. It is very like a good cherry yogurt - fat free of course. The finish is dry, a tad tart, and a very slight bit astringent. Makes the mouth pucker a bit. Just excellent.

Off red head and a red color. It looks actually almost identical to the framboise. Tart cherry smell. With a heavy syrupy cherry taste that is tart and sour. Some really hidden beer taste, but not too much. Sweet enough to make it a girl drink for many certainly.

Very cloudy, dark, blood red pour with pink edging. A modest, creamy, light pink head is superbly resistant to diminishment. The nose is eye-opening, just smothering with ultra-rich cherry scents, neith too sweet nor exceedingly tart; just loads of fresh, regal cherries. Large, wafting and caressing cake icing follows, then lighter notes of wet straw, lightly toasted grains, stoned wheat, modest tartness, light oak and drying maple woods. The vast majority of the aroma is decadent cherries and delectable sugars and that’s just fine with me. One of the more luxurious aromas in the beer world. The flavor is at first loaded with sweet, moderately syrupy cherry nectar and slowly fades into a more complex and increasingly sour escapade. this tastes like the lambic version of New Glarus Belgian Red; the cherry isn’t as impressive but this is really tasty. Tartness is mild and grows little by little with each sip. Sweetness is medium-high and grows signifigantly more with each sip. Acidity is low-mild and breaks up a syrupy texture just enough to let mild brett notes and some bready malt through. The finish is lightly puckering, tangy, sweet with no sign of drying, though it never even glances at the road that leads to cloying; great length too. The mouthfeel is is vividly carbonated, lightly sticky, smooth and jammy, complete with seed-particulates that get stuck in between teeth. Very good and exceptionally quaffable.

Pours a dark hazy red, with a light pink head. Smells of big candy cherry sweetness and jolly ranchers. Smells very inviting. The taste has big carbonation and big flavor. Thecherry is quite overwhelming on the the palate. Very sweet and sugary. It definitely has that jolly racher similarity that makes it a fun beer to drink. Thefinish was sweet and full flavored. Mild acidity and sourness are left behind. The aftertaste was sweet and fruity, the cherry lingered for quite some time. Just licking my lips, I want another sip. Vry nice kriek.

Bottle that Ross shared with me. Thanks man. Pours out reddish with a white-pink hue for a head.Smell is a mix of sour barnyard type smell and tart cherries. Taste however is not nearly as sour or funky as you might think by just smelling it and in fact is very fruity of cherries. Pretty good and a fairly mild lambic but I suppose it could be from the age Ross said it had on it.

Bottle that I have had for several years. Pours out a bright red color with a pink colored head. Smell is full of cherries and some sour funk as well. The taste is mostly cherries, but it seems some of the sourness has gone away in the couple of years that I have had it - or maybe it wasnt all that sour to begin with? Still, a pretty easy drinking, almost fruit beer. Nice stuff.
