| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 27, 2007 Pours a dark hazy red, with a light pink head. Smells of big candy cherry sweetness and jolly ranchers. Smells very inviting. The taste has big carbonation and big flavor. Thecherry is quite overwhelming on the the palate. Very sweet and sugary. It definitely has that jolly racher similarity that makes it a fun beer to drink. Thefinish was sweet and full flavored. Mild acidity and sourness are left behind. The aftertaste was sweet and fruity, the cherry lingered for quite some time. Just licking my lips, I want another sip. Vry nice kriek. rayg1 (445), Ft. Mill, South Carolina, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 25, 2007 Bottle that Ross shared with me. Thanks man. Pours out reddish with a white-pink hue for a head.Smell is a mix of sour barnyard type smell and tart cherries. Taste however is not nearly as sour or funky as you might think by just smelling it and in fact is very fruity of cherries. Pretty good and a fairly mild lambic but I suppose it could be from the age Ross said it had on it. ross (1709), weddington, South Carolina, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 25, 2007 Bottle that I have had for several years. Pours out a bright red color with a pink colored head. Smell is full of cherries and some sour funk as well. The taste is mostly cherries, but it seems some of the sourness has gone away in the couple of years that I have had it - or maybe it wasnt all that sour to begin with? Still, a pretty easy drinking, almost fruit beer. Nice stuff. ohemming (22), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 22, 2007 Bottle. Amazing red color with a big pink head, funky aroma. Perfect balance between sweet and sour, tastes great. A top lambic, especially considering its a traditional lambic. Boutip (2404), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 20, 2007 Bottle: Poured a deep reddish color lambic with a super huge pink foamy head with perfect retention. Aroma of sweet cherries with some tart notes. Taste is also dominated by some sweet cherries with tart notes. Not as sour as some other example of the style (Cantillon, Drie Fonteinen) but I don’t believe any sugar was added maybe just cherries with a sweeter taste profile (but I might be wrong). Body is full with some low filtration and some great carbonation. Overall a very enjoyable and refreshing beer for summertime. Brix (378), Denmark
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 17, 2007 Tasted 2007-07-22. 2006 version, 37,5cl. Deep red colour with pink head. Aroma of cherries and butter. Sort of a red wine-ish aroma. Flavours of cherries, and dry champagne. I like it! rederic (1815), montréal, Quebec, Canada
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Aug 14, 2007 Dark reddish wine color, with a pinkyish foamy head, sweet cherryish nose, with a marzipan, nutmeg spiciness, with some notes of wildberry fruitiness, and a faint cherry oakiness aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a sweet and sour, fruity cherry character, being a little bit on the candy side, with a mild wildberry fruity accent, hint of sweet winey oakiness, a subtle tartness, leading towards sweet and sour fruity cherryish finish. mkofron (155), St. Louis, Missouri, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Aug 11, 2007 My first lambic... cloudy red cherry colored beer with a small reddish head. Sweet aroma of cherries. Sweet cherry flavor on a somewhat thin body. A nice intro to a style I’ll have to investigate further.
