Dark red body, with a large & coarse-bubbled pink hued head. Aroma of sweet cherry, some tart in the background and very subtle hops. Not much going on in the aroma, and not much going on in the taste either - just enjoyable cherry sweetness with a slightly sour edge to it. The finish was dry enough though. Actually quite well balanced overall. Good level of carbonation and a solid enough mouthfeel. Lacks complexity and depth, especially compared to some other kriek, but it’s not bad at all.

Bottle opens with low "pop" and pours a deep red with low pink head. Aroma is sweet/sour with notes of almonds, cherries and diacetyl. Flavor is surprisingly dry compared to the aroma and perfectly balanced being more tart than really sour. Smooth, full texture and low carbonation (for the style). Very refreshing and quaffable.

12 oz bottle-Poured a ruby pink color w/a fizzy pink head, looked like a glass of pink Champagne but darker. Great cherry aroma, very effervesent. Had a nice cherry flavor to it but still had a lot of fizz. Dry, but not overly so. Just enough kick to be enjoyable. I’d much rather drink this than a glass of Champagne. Wasn’t expecting to like this as much as I did. Long tart finish.

375 mL bottle at Zeno’s, Penn State. Poured deep ruby with lively pink head. Extremely tart, sour cherry flavor. I’m generally a fan of fruit beers/lambics, but this one was a bit too tart for me.

Opaque burgundy shade with blush wine edges. Aroma of children’s tylenol, little else. Quiet hints of intelligent sour and tart flavors are overwhelmed by noisy, tactless sugars, which coat the mouth like plastic candy. The cherry doesn’t quite shine in this rendition, which lacks body and nuance in comparison to others.

12 oz bottle. Dark red winey color with a thick light pink head. Smells like port and cherries. Not used to the lambic flavor yet, but this one seems much lighter than my first "real" one (Oude Kriek 3 Fonteinen.) First taste is of sweet cherries, finish is more sour, yeasty, grassy. Overall, pretty good... would recommend to both beer geeks and non-beer geeks.

12oz bottle. I haven’t had great success with lambics but I keep coming back to them. Perhaps I am a closet lambic fan. Pours bright red with a light pink head. Aroma is wine, port, fruity, sweet, cherry, a little bit of cough syrup. Smells pretty good overall. Flavor is pretty mild. Cherries with a dash of tartness but nothing overpowering. Quite accessible and drinkable. Nothing fantastic but pretty tasty.

Darker hazy pinkish red coloured with an average pink head. Heavy dry cherry aroma with some sweeter touches. Body is sweet-sour balanced. Dry longer finish. Not bad.
