Clear red colour with a small pink head. Artificial sweet cherry aroma. Sweet fruity flavour with moderate lambic tones. nick76 (2684), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 13, 2007 The aroma has some of that wild funky Lambic yeast with a tart yet sweet cherry pie element. The appearance is cloudy red with plenty of carbonation. The flavor is sweet and tart with enough fruit taste to counter the sourness of the Lambic. The palate is thin and refreshing. This is one of those rare, drinkable Lambics (at least in my book) and it’s the best Boon that I’ve had. madsberg (5060), Søborg, Denmark

Dark red coloured. Unclear. Dense reddish head. Marcipan, cherry, sugar and light spice in the nose. Flavour is fresh cherrieish. Quite sugary and some vague tart notes. Very easy to drink. Almost like a sodapop. (The draught version imo is a bit more tart). Medium bodied. Is sweetish in the end. mjg74 (2000), La Mesa, California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 9, 2007 Bottle from BevMo. Pours a dark maroon color. Aroma is of cherries, both tart and sweet. Gently tart cherry flavors. Nothing too exciting here, enjoyable though. My bottle is 5%. Beer2000 (1841), Kristiansand, Norway

Sweet cherry aroma. Flavor is more moderate sweet cherry with a pleasant balanced acid sourness. Quite nice, somewhere in-between the real stuff and the sweet, artificial juice stuff. Re-rated as 750ml bottle@Kristiansand lambic festival. I stick to my previous comments, with exception for the artificial stuff. I’m now convinced that this is 100% real stuff.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 23, 2007 2004 vintage from presario. Cloudy, deep red colour with medium carbonation. A bit of oaky red wine type aromas co-mingle with some strong sweet cherry notes. The cherry flavors taste a bit artificial, but there’s enough sour and earthy (again reminding me a bit of a mildly tannic red wine) components to keep things from getting too sweet or overly simplistic. There’s still not really enough lambic character coming through, but this stuff is drinkable enough to stay out of the "dessert beer" category. Only what i´m not sure if this is all natural Cherry taste, cause when you get the beer opend and the first arome comes to your nose the cherry taste is very intense, if this is all natural cherry this is a wonderful beer, maybe someone knows more about!
