Poured from a 12oz bottle an ciderey looking brownish red. The head is a quite impressive red tinged white at least 3.5 fingers high. Very sweet aroma that echoes the cherries, but also exhibits a wierd sweetness, almost like a rainer cherry or something. The flavor is not as sweet as the nose suggests, but still carries a little bit of it. Not overly sour like a true traditional, but certainly no Lindermans either. A nice crisp cherry flavor that is not dominated by sweet or sour. The mouthfeel could certainly be better, as the flavor quickely dissapates. All in all a very enjoyable beer that could please the masses, but satisfy the discerning.

Bottle. Deep red with a small head. Aromas are cherry drop sweets. Sour but not too acidic. Quite dry. Flavours are sweet and sour with lots of cherry. Some barnyard notes although not at the Cantillon levels. A tasty kriek.

Bottled(375ml). -Hazy red coloured, medium sized pink head, pure stum nose. Acidic and too much carbonated cherry juice with notes of yeast and marchpane. Easy drinkable and very artificial brew. 2005vintage

(Draught) Pours hazy red. Sand/pink head. Acid, cherry aroma with some woody tones. Too sweet flavour for my taste with some vinegar, white sugar and cherries. Sour notes with some wood. Light to medium body.

Draught in Beersel. Cloudy deep crimson with a creamy pink/brown head. Aroma is of marzipan, and some almost sweet cherries. Flavour of almond, cherry, also some light tartness, but nothing too spectacular. Long tart fruity finish. Beautiful and refreshing, a perfect beer after the 2 hour walk from Central Brussels to beersel.

Tap@Ølbaren, Copenhagen: Little aroma, feint, sweetish cherries. Soft, light and not much acidity really. Easy drinking kriek but not the most interesting.

[Tasted at Plan B with the Roots and at Reersø with svogergylp] Oh, I like thisone so much, that I can drink it for hours. Good balance between sweet and sour, but indeed this beer is at most sweet.
