Sour cherry notes in nose along with a toasted breadiness - complex and inviting. Medium sourness up front and dark fruity cherry backs it up. I would like more sour but better than most locally available krieks. Horseblanket notes just there - could be bigger. Head is thin, lingers on but just as a skiff. Med-lite body. Ends with lingering sour dark cherry. sunevdj (1787), Copenhagen OE, Denmark
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 20, 2006 On tap @ Ølbaren. Pours a clear red with a slightly pink head. Quite sweet and lots of rather artificial cherry flavors. Some sourness too, especially in the end. Medium bodied. pintbypint (1021), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 11, 2006 2004 375ml bottle. Lasting light pink head on a red liquid. Sweet and sour cherry aroma with a good dose of cheese. Body is thin. Flavour is lightly sweet with a light cherry pop flavour. Wildness kicks in at the finish but not overly aggressive. A fairly mild summer sipper. The cherry keeps calling you back as you try and dismiss the glass, but still a little thin. vyvvy (2068), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 4, 2006 Pours deep purple with a dull purple head. Aroma has quite a bit of tart cherries with a bit of cherry pie filling sweetness. There is also a touch of vinegar like sourness. Medium body with sharper than normal carbonation for the style. Taste starts sweet and sour with more of an earthy mustiness than I’m used to in a lambic. There is some cherry in the flavor, but not as much as the aroma implied. The sourness involved is not as sharp as the vinegar-like qualities by many, the sourness seems to have a smoothness to it. The finish has a lot of the sourness from the taste & prickliness from the carbonation. This is a nice lambic. If the price was a bit lower I could see myself enjoying often. hophead75 (1964), Boonton, New Jersey, USA

Aroma and taste seem rather simple in this beer. Aroma is tart cherries and malt, taste is sweet cherries with a tart fruit finish, overall seems well balanced. M0RHI (1067), Luxembourg, Luxembourg
