Cherry (but not the fake kind) and a little earthiness dominates the aroma. Pours with a beautiful pink head, with some staying power (but no lacings). Nice cherry taste, a little dry and not too sweet. Nice medium mouth feel with some bitterness but overall a little light taste wise. One of the better krieks (that I have tasted).

75 cl bottle, crop 2004. Light ruby coloured and relatively turbid, topped with a small, very fine pink head. A sweet, perfumed cherry aroma with some volatile, rather acetic acidity. An overwhelmingly sweet cherry taste which comes and goes, leaving behind a nice, lemony acidity. A somewhat oily texture, medium carbonated.

way too sweet for my tastes, a champagne like mouthfeel with lots of bubbles and foam from the pour. a lot of cherries in the taste, but an overwhlemingly sweet and sugary palate dominate. i enjoy the tarty, sour aroma of its cousin oude beesel kriek much more

Good mix between sweet and sour. Fresh lambick with strong cherry taste. One of the best lambicks in my opinion.

Cherry red coloured with a pinkish head. Sweet cherry aroma. Sweet mineral water with cherry essence. Not as good as I imagined. Mondiale 2005.

Reddish colour with a thin pink head. Marzipan and almond sweet aroma along a light tart fruityness. Tart fruity flavor with notes of a dusty yeastyness. Dry finish.

Dark red color, light red little head. Medium cherry and sour aroma. Medium bodied. Sweet flavor with cherry and mild bubble gum, ends with mildly sour aftertaste which lasts.
