On tap at ’t Brugs Beertje. Clear red, small head no retention. Aroma is fruity cherry, candy and very sugary. Taste is faint sourness and very sugary. This is a sugar bomb. Not bad but still a girly drink.

Bottle courtesy of alraomon on 08/01/2009. Clear dark reddish body with a medium frothy off-white head. Big cherry and light sour aroma, very sugary. Very sugary cherry flavor, some light sour notes. Medium light body with moderate carbonation.

Beautiful color, deep cherry. Little head that vainshes realatively quick. Faint, almost non-exsistent bubble, slightly viscous. Smells and tasts of cherry, dissapointingly not sour. Great on a hot day like today. This would be good poored over some good vanilla ice cream

C&C 375 mL bottle courtesy of Alraomon. Thanks! Pours a slightly hazy red color with small floating particles. Thin head. Fair head retention and lacing. Big aroma of sweet sugary cherry candy. Taste is a little bit less sweet but still has a ton of sugary sweetness. Slightly vegetal notes as well and the oak barely peeks out. Medium bodied.

Bottle. Sorry xnoxhatex about your garage door and the cork... hope you can repair the damage, at least it wasn’t one of our eyes. Pours a dull dark purple with a super tall billowing pink foam. Sweet cherry and crystal sugar aroma, very sweet with acidity being secondary, some chlorine aromas as well. Flavor of dark cherries, very sweet, low acidity, not quite alco-pop though, a little bit soapy, not extremely tart either. Fluffy mouth-feel, odd carbonation, as in lots of it, uniform and airy.

375ml bottle courtesy of JAXSON. Pours cloudy red with a half finger pink head that sticks around. The nose is cherry skins and ripe cherries. The taste is sweet cherries upfront with some sour unripe black cherry in the finish. Reminds me a bit of New Glarus Belgian Red, but not as good. Medium prickly mouthfeel. Decent lambic. Thanks Jeremy!

Bottle thanks to 17thfloor. Huge pop, like a gun shot. Dark red color with large, billowing red tinted head. Aroma is semi-sweet, semi-tart cherry. Flavor is pretty sweet, lacto?, dark cherries, tart. Medium and well carbonated. Nice for a sweeter lambic.

2004 batch: Super dark red brew with a small, creamy cap with decent retension and an ok ammount of slippery lacing. It has a very refreshing prominent aroma consisting mainly of soft sweet and tart cherries. Taste is very good! A good mix of tartness, sweetness and a background sourness and it’s all cherry. Here and there I take a sip and it has a mild watery taste..odd. My mouth is telling my brain to keep pouring more in while my brain is asking itself why it allowed me to eat an entire box of Hotrods this afternoon. Mouthfeel is very nice. Meduim bodied with fine carbonation. Subdued middle with a mid-grade tart dryness. Finishes quiet but dry and left a film in my mouth. Good stuff but I’m left wondering if I should have cellared this longer than a year.
