Reddish colour with a thin pink head. Marzipan and almond sweet aroma along a light tart fruityness. Tart fruity flavor with notes of a dusty yeastyness. Dry finish.

Dark red color, light red little head. Medium cherry and sour aroma. Medium bodied. Sweet flavor with cherry and mild bubble gum, ends with mildly sour aftertaste which lasts.

Magenta pour with pink head. Strong cherry aroma that reminds me a lot of Jolly Ranchers. The flavor is sweet and tastes fairly artificial to me.

Bottle. 4.5% Cherry aroma. Clear, dark red colour. Small head. Flavour is quite sweet, not sour. The finish is a little watery. 5 3 6 3 12

Draught, 4% at ZBF08. Fat cherry bubble gum aroma. Dark red colour, small creamy pink head. The flavour is quite sweet, some cherry but not too artificial. Not sour like a kriek should be, though. 5 3 5 3 10

Bottled at Delirium, Gothenburg. Clear, wine-red color. White head with a red hue. A little sour cherry-taste dominates. Delicious, sticky, but somehow balanced sweet. Fruity aftertaste. Rating: 7-4-8-4-16-3.9. (051008)

Bottle, 375ml. Vintage 2006. It pours a hazy, cherry red body with a little orange tint. White head of moderate size. The aroma has cherry, some almond, sweetness and a faint sourness. The flavor is sweeter than I remembered, with some sourness, a little almond and funky hints. The sourness isn’t as lemon-like as expected, more cherry-like. Full-bodied, almost sticky, and at the same time slightly sourish. Very mellow. I would like it to be less sweet, but it’s a nice beer anyway. Sure wouldn’t mind having access to it all the time. This is really good lambic beer! It’s not OVERWHELMINGLY FRUITY LIKE HITTING YOU IN THE FACE WITH FAKE FRUIT EVERY SIP. To clarify, that’s how this beer is NOT. Cherries definitely dominate the flavor and aroma. And this beer has the standard pink head/red body. Really delicious though. Surpisingly good complement to the mexican food I was eating. I think I’ll go try the Framboise now. :)
