Lightly to medium tart with a medium sweetness. Woody, corky flavours. Dries out on the tongue. Nice one. Not too much sweetness. stubby (326), Santee, California, USA

A simple rendition of the style and an accessible introduction to the world of sour beers. I like it as one of my favorite fruit beers. KariCupcake (214), Lenox, Massachusetts, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 5, 2005 Bottle (cork exploded quite violently spilling almost half of bottle onto kitchen counter). Cherry-brown in colour with a lasting large pink coloured head. Aroma of sour cherries, candy and coins. The flavour was lacking the sourness of the aroma, mostly sugar coated cherries and a small tartness was all that was left. Medium-light body, violent carbonation. Finishes a bit on the sweet side with some lingering cherries. dm9831 (1167), Monee, Illinois, USA
