Hooollyy Shit!!! I just barely loosened the cage and the cork freaking blew the cage right out of my hand. Scared the ever living crap out of me. Vintage 2003. I guess this one is OK. At least it smells OK. TONS of carbonation. Almost too much so. I’m afraid it’s getting too hot while I wait for the 6+ inches of head to die down. Now onto the flavor. Damn this is tasty. Not to sour or tart. Just the right amount of sourness to make me want to take another sip. Nice tingly palate to boot. Highly refreshing. Reminds me of the cheery sours I used to eat bags full of while at the University Park pool during the summers. Well done Lodewijk! This is one hell of a start!

Bottle 2003. Dark red, clear with a slim pink head. Restrained cherry aroma. Nicely tart flavour with just about the right amount of cherryness for me (not overpowering). Light and thirst quenchingly drinkable.

Clear dark red pour with a thin pink head. Sweet aroma of cherries, it smells a lot like a cherry Life Savers candy. Sweet and moderatly dusty flavor of cherries. Light body, the texture is oily but not too syrupy, the carbonation is soft. Ok but too sweet.

Vintage 2000: Reddish brown in color, its’ got an old mustiness to it’s aroma, as if the cherries need to be dusted before drinking. The cherry scent is somewhat buried under the funky sour hay aroma. The drink is tart, the cherries still subdued. The finish is a dusty sourness. Not too bad.

(Bottle 25 cl) "At least 200 grams of cherries per liter", the label promises. Well, that sounds just fine to me. But the problem is, that the cherry-flavour doesn’r really shine through. Pale reddish colour, with a small, bubbly reddish head. No colourings or flavourings which is fine by me too - and also might explain the vague flavours. 190797

Bottled, vintage 2002. Cloudy redish, pink head. Very fine, fresh and sour cherry-aroma and flavour. Extremely refreshing.

Bottle. Purple-red color with a purple-white head. Musty aroma with enough cheriies. Sweet, sugary flavor with cherries. There’s some tartness, but the sweet overpowers. Some mustiness in the fatertaste. Finsihes a little sweet. Would like to see more tartness.
