mmm. this beer is so sweet. literally. i really like fruit lambics in general and this is by far my favourite. it has a nice amount of tartness and smells and tastes like real cherries. some might say too sweet but not for me. i especially like the deep pink hue of the head. and the champagne bottle. class all the way.

I am not a huge fan of this style and this was highly enjoyable. Just a bit too tart but not over the top, had a nice fruity mellow sweetness to it, but some very nice fruit flavors.

8/9/04: Bottle.
Dark cherry red-pink body. X-S white head with a very slight amount of lace. Kriek nose; sweet-sour with a bit of barrel and a touch of Vermont Cheddar Cheese. Cherry flavor is predominant. Finish is clean and slightly sweet and tingly.

Bottled. 2002 crop. A deep red coloured lambic with a thick cream coloured head. The aroma is of plump cherries and fizzy alcohol. The taste is quite sweet and obviously there are cherries, both the taste of the stones and the pulp. It is a tasty beer but one dimensional in comparison to other Lambic - Fruits.

Well carbonated and dark red in appearance. The head does not last after the pour. Slightly tart and sweet at the same time. Dark cherry flavor with a slight medicinal tinge.

Bottled, at the Dovetail, London.
Viscous red, goop. Strawberry jam and confectionary preserve aroma. Just too fruity for my liking but I do appreciate the amount of flavour squeezed into this little bottle.

Rose-colored body with mild carbonation (especially for a lambic) and thin sudsy pink head. Aroma of cherry, yeast, spice, and mild brett. Ripe black cherry and oaky flavor. Considerable sweetness and very low acidity. Syrupy quality. Oakiness helps it to finish drier than expected. Tasty, but not my idea of a lambic.
