It has a very refreshing prominent aroma consisting mainly of soft sweet and tart cherries. Taste is very good! A good mix of tartness, sweetness and a background sourness and it’s all cherry. Here and there I take a sip and it has a mild watery taste..odd. My mouth is telling my brain to keep pouring more in while my brain is asking itself why it allowed me to eat an entire box of Hotrods this afternoon. Mouthfeel is very nice. Meduim bodied with fine carbonation. Subdued middle with a mid-grade tart dryness. Finishes quiet but dry and left a film in my mouth. Good stuff but I’m left wondering if I should have cellared this longer than a year. PJClarke (708), London, Greater London, England

Appearance: Clear amber red pour with a two finger pink head. Aroma: Aroma of cherry taffy, oak and some medicinal notes. Flavor: Up front sweet cherries take over, with a slightly bitter and sour finish. Palate: Light body with solid carbonation. Overall: Better than I had expected, but still slightly sweet.

Dry woody aroma’s, caskwood, well balanced flavors, watery texture. Less astringent than other kriek lambics. Highly drinkable and enjoyable however. shawnm213 (951), South Bend, Indiana, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Jun 11, 2009 Pours a dark red, reminiscent of cherries. The head is about an inch tall and bright pink. Aroma has vanilla, cherries, raspberries and a hint of sourness. Tastes very simple and similar to the nose with the addition of some wheaty esters and sugary sweetness. This beer is too sweet for a lambic in my opinion. Palate is nice. This beer is simple and enjoyable... Not great though. Cole (311), , Alberta, Canada
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 10, 2009 Pours a deep red like a nice rose. Tall pink head and decent lacing. Aroma is dominated by cherry with subtle vanilla notes. Flavour is dominated by fresh (real) cherries. It is slightly sour with a very mild malt aftertaste. It is very very sweet though. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jun 3, 2009 Very nice looking beer deep opaque red so dark almost starting to look black, just the tiniest amount head was produced leaving a ring of bubbles around the edge of me glass. A slightly perfumey, tart creamy cheery aroma is very prominent but not over powering, smell reminds of starburst candy. Very balanced taste good natural cherry flavor combined with the beer, it doesn’t just taste like juice. I can pick a lot of yeast in the flavor and some nice malts, very nicely balanced. Full bodied with stinging carbonation, feels thicker then most Lambic fruit beers. A very enjoyable fruit beer goes down smooth, doesn’t taste artificial, and isn’t overpoweringly sweet.
