Poured crimson with no head. There was a nice cherry, fruity aroma with a little bit of horse blanket underneath. Not overwhelmingly fruity, but nice. The flavor was dominantly fruity, cherry with some nice vinous qualities. Overall, this is a heavy fruit beer and not for those who dislike fruity beers. I thought it was pretty good, more like champagne.

Nice sweetish, a bit sour aroma of cherries. Flavor is soft, sweetish cherries with some sourness in it. Very drinkable.

Fad: Flot rødlig øl med lyserødt skum. Dejlig smag af kirsebær, med en fin balance til den meget lette surhed. God frisk tørstslukker, og perfekt til mine smagsløg.

Bottle: Another tasty lambic, intense cherry flavor, sweet and refreshing, great after dinner brew.

Lovely example of a kriek. I am probably over-rating this because we are starved of good fruit beers Down Under. I do not care because I had forgotten just how enjoyable a good fruit beer can be. Muddy plum colour with a thick Cremola Foam head that lingered well. Creamy, subtle aroma - intriguing. Sherbet-sour with canned peaches and cream. Some restrained sugars. Light body with some late spritz. Soft cherries, filling malty middle and a quenching sherbet-fizz finish. No funk here - very clean but tasty. A great balancing act. Pours a pretty cherry red with brown and alot of sediment. A nice sour presence pervades the area, followed by some vinegar toward the end of the pour. My wife drank much of the bottle, but I got enough to have formed an impression. Not bone-dry like other krieks, but with a wine-like quality, little residual sweetness. Cherry and oak up front. A striking amount of vinegar. Different. Slight medicinal component.

375 ml bottle. Deep cherry red color, pinkish head. Sweet-and-sour cherry aroma. Sweet fruity flavor. High carbonation. Not much of a kriek, lacking the proper sour flavor.
