Blom (605), Odense, Denmark Mar 21, 2008 Deep red with a beautifull head, rosé coloured. Aroma of cherries and grapes and a sweet-acid flavour of marzipan, sugar and cherries. I’m very fond of the sweet and simple krieks, and this belongs in the top of that category. It’s not complex, but highly drinkable.
Oscbert (239), Sacramento, California, USA Aug 20, 2008 ~Pours a light candy red color with small lasting pink head.
~Strong cherry candy aroma, very sweet. Kind of smells like cherry cough drops.
~Flavor is pretty nice, not as sweet as the scent suggest. Cherry definetly present, but also some grains like wheat.
~Feels soft and light. Finish is cherry sweet.
~My first lambic. I wasn’t really sure what to expect. I don’t care too much for this. It is too candy like for me. I will drink it though, very slowly.
