Nicely sour cherry aroma, not as fat as some. Good sourness to aroma. Beautiful red colour, almost clear. Very small bubbly head. The flavour is nicely acidic, some cherry but owerpowered by the tartness, which is good of course. CapedBrewsader (260), Brasschaat, Belgium

A mix of every imaginable souring agent. Tart red berries, low black cherry, horseblanket, farmyard (specifically dung). Mouth puckering but not over the top. Quick flash of green herbs. Some cherry pit astringency. Long acidic and citric finish with a light splash of dark cherry juice. harrisoni (6829), Ashford, Kent, England

More funky farmyard than cherry on the aroma. Really quite funky. Real cowpats. Cherries do come through, but really just too funky for me. I know lots of other people really rated this highly, but i just didn’t get it. Wim (1321), Turnhout, Belgium

Poured looking quite fabulous, lovely deep cherry red colour with a pink head that soon went. Some bile on the nose initially, but this soon fortunately gave way to nice sour cherries. This tasted funky funktastic (thanks to duff for reccomending) starts to really dry the mouth out after a few sips, great cherry bite and tang, good solid sourness, and that cherry bite snaps in again, liked this. ekstedt (2446), Göteborg, Sweden

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 3, 2008 Big fruit and reasonable sourness make for a very tasty and refreshing cherry lambic. Sampled at ZBF as Schaerbeek Kriekenlambic. Pours deep, dark, brick-red maroon, with just a few bubbles on top. Nose is a sack full of ripe, black cherries. A little nutty or woody. Smooth, mildly tart fruit flavor. Light acidity, lightly bitter finish, tart and fruity aftertaste. Delicious.
