Bottle, at Nacht van de Grote Dorst, March 2006. Hazy cherry red, no head and minimal condition. Slightly syrupy cherry and low lambic notes in the nose, delicate dry cherry skin and low citric levels in the finish.

Deep flat ruby, like a merlot or something. Vineous aroma, quite tannic and fruity (plum) and then some soft funk and acid. Delecate flavour, a bit more wine-like fruity notes and tannin, perhaps some earthy notes too... fantastic balance and complexity, the tartness is a little restrained, revealing a lot more in the beer than some of the other lambics tasted at the WOSF 07’ Great, maybe even brilliant.

Draught @ WSF. Blood red with no head. Strong sour cherry aroma, some vinous notes. Black cherry with a bitter edge. Very tart but brief, again vinous in taste also. Great stuff.

Draught at 1ste BAB-Bierfestival, Brugge. Intense ruby red colour. No foam whatsoever. Intense cherry fruit aroma as well as some almond notes. Surprisingly soft on the tongue, starting out fruity, but gradually woody dryness takes over. A special treat from Boon.

On tap @ Weekend of Spontaneous Fermentation 2007. Hazy and red in colour with no head. Really well balanced with notes of plenty of fruit, cherries, wood, almond and citrus. Yum!
