ZBF2008: From tap. Pours golden red, clear, and with no head. Sulphorish dry aroma. Dry cherry flavour, solid acidic note. Goes into a very dry and tart finish.

Sampled draught at Akkurat, Stockholm. (5.0%)
Clear deep red, small pink head. Balsamic cherry aroma. Acidic and dense, with notes of cobweb and vinegar. Less fruity than Drie Fonteinen and Girardin’s kriekemlambics, and I miss the extra dimension they have. But then unblended lambics change more from barrel to barrel than any other type of beer I know of...

Draught @ 16th Weekend of Spontaneous Fermentation 2007, Opstal. Hazy red color with virtually none head. Aroma is light to moderate cherry fruits, notes of hops. Flavor is moderate sweet, acidic and bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat to soft.

Cask at ZBF08 as Boon kriekenlambik met schaerbeekse krieken. Nicely sour cherry aroma, not as fat as some. Good sourness to aroma. Beautiful red colour, almost clear. Very small bubbly head. The flavour is nicely acidic, some cherry but owerpowered by the tartness, which is good of course.

Draught. Hazy ruby red colour, not much head. Aroma is redwineish vinegar along with cherries. Flavour is also pretty much the same along with some wood and berries. A very pleasant thing.

Bloody colour. Vinegary nose with cherry pits. Some wood on the palate but also prune, apricot and other indeterminate fruits. Starts tart but moves to a more alkali finish with vinegar.
