Ooh, ahh... This beer is just perfect! A hefty, yet refined aroma of wheat, citrus, dirty, funky cellar and fruit. The flavour is dry and compex with heaps of citric and lime notes. Notes of earth, hay and pinot gris follows. Ends dry and sour. A fine beer!

nearbeer’s Spring Cleansin’. Sample from a bottle thanks to nearbeer. 2003 bottle. Clear golden, light orange with a thin frothy sticky white head. Aroma is lightly acidic, big must, cheese funk that dulls the acidity, some vinegar tails behind. The taste is a dry acidity, lemon, citrus fruits, a bit of funk and over nice souring but not at all overpowering.

37,5 cl 2004. A lot of carbonation. Aroma is good for a geuze. Nice balanced taste. Might be a bit more sour. Great bitter hop finish. Reminds me a bit of the cantillon iris. Great beer

Bottle at nearbeer’s Spring Cleansin’. Pours effervescent orange with white head. The aroma is fine cheese (perhaps camambert), some fruity sourness, and a little bit of angel-food cake. The flavor is dry white cheese, dried fruits, some lemon, farmy funk, and a little bit of earthy bitterness. A refreshing sourness embraces the entire mouth. Quite a tasty one, this.

Crushed with Jakebra. Ok gueuze. Surprisingly sweet. Nose has that old man sweat and some sharpie marker. Definitely doesn’t make my mouth water. Very disappointed. Flavor is very subdued and boring. Bummer.

Bottle, shared by gottalottaibu. Thanks! Topaz with a lasting ring of foam. Aroma of earth, wood, funky citrus, and musty grape. Flavor is earthy champagne and musty oak. Near-medium body is mostly smooth, acidic dry and tingly.
