375 ml bottle. orange colour. aroma, flavor and palate are much to sour for my taste, if this is because it’s an "old" Geuze, than I prefer the young one’s..., perhaps I will buy one and try to save it for 15 years and than rate it again...

bottle at OpusK 8€ BB 15.05.2027 year 2003 color:amber bright Scent:nice fresh sour scent Taste: astringent sour. Very difficult to find any another tastes even alcohol. With bottom yeast bit gentler taste.I just started to think if this is marriage toast for celebrating people who haven’t tasted lambic before. This might be shocking experience unpleasant one.

Bottle at Tre Små Rum, Göteborg. From 2003. Pale golden, white head. Woody, citric aroma, sourish, some cork and with fruity notes. Sour and sourish flavor, woody, citric, spicy, mostly with pepper. Really nice grapefruit notes, some sweetish fruits. Quite discrett sourish citric and fruity finish. Very good.

Bottle. Large thick bubbly off-white head that mostly lasted. Light cloudy golden copper color. Really good display of lacework. This was a very well balanced Geuze I thought with notes of light horse blanket, soap, perfume and nice feel of soft fruity touch. Over the palate came quite smooth and mild sour grapefruit like with a mix of other sour and mild sweet fruity notes. Medium bodied with a surprisingly lively carbonation and dry texture. Moderated acidic with good counter sweetness. Ends dry and fresh – sour grapefruit and horse blanket like.

Bottle @ Stone Sour Fest 2008. Pours a cloudy haze of orange, dusty color topped with a white soapy head. The aroma is mainly of wood - oak bark, as such - and then there is a wave of musty brett. Quite dry and has that wheaty character. Liberal funk but lacking in a true complexity. Carbonation is lively and prickly but this in some ways helps to mask the 8% alcohol. Earthy and woody mostly.

2003. Pours a translucent golden/peach with a thin fizzy white head that quickly subdues. Very tart and citric aroma, grassy, earthy, very dry and vinous, muscadine grapes. The flavor is very acidic and tart but you can tell its mellowed. Dry acetic bite, some citrus and lemongrass and a little earthy. Nice gueuze.

Vintage 2003. Slightly hazy golden/orange pour. Bubbly white head that disappears pretty quickly. Big strongly acidic nose, rubbery, bretty, with some scuppernong notes. More so on the palate. Quite good, but definitely a big-ass gueuze.
