Beautiful pour, cloudy beige with very little yellow. Sour appetizing aroma. Very nice tingly palate. Delicious sour initial flavors overwehlm the taste buds. Enjoyable and refreshing as with most real lambics. Wow what an experience! Has much more alky in it than I am familiar with most lambics, 8%. However it hides the alky content well. The only thing I didn’t care for in this brew was the apparent bitter lingering aftertaste, which by the way, was not really that bad, just noticeable. Overall I want to say this beer rocks and I owe puzzl big for this selection. Lovely, reminds me a bit of cantillon iris. Rciesla (3777), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA

Clear, medium orange brown body with quick white bubbles. Boozy astringent yeast flavour has petrol characteristics. Medium body is sour. Interesting to try and well-blended, good example of a par+ geuze.

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 19, 2008 The pour was an ever so slightly cloudy, light copper color. A substantial white head formed then gave way to some flecks of lacing. Lots of effervescent bubbles. The aroma was light funk, sour fruit and even some light malt? The flavor followed suit. The mouthfeel was clean and dry and I found it mildly refreshing. To be honest, I’d just as soon have a Mike’s Hard Lemonade if I feel the need for something sour, bubbly and alcoholic.
