Flavor of sour fruits, typicaly gueuze flavor. Not too sour (a plus for me) and very enjoyable to drink. Kind of zesty too! I was pleasantly surprised by this beer, as most lambics are often too sour for my liking. Excellent. JB175 (1664), Bucks County, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 16, 2008 Golden color with a white head. Aroma is citrusy, sour, and pleasantly funky. Flavor has a nice woody-sour-funky mix that is good with almost any food. Classic gueuze. Tranquillity (1167), Espoo, Finland

It’s a fantastic beer but wrong for my taste: I can’t stand grapefruit. Clear orange-red, tiny white head. Very geuzy aroma. BlackForestCO (828), Fort Collins, Colorado, USA

Poured a clear golden-yellow color with rising bubbles and a thick white head that left some spotty lacing. Aroma is very tart, with some funky barnyard notes and hints of straw, lemon, and orange peel. Tartness is strong right off the bat, but in a very pleasant way. Nice, crisp undertones of citrus fruit lead into a funky yeast finish with a hint of barn and cobwebs. Nice carbonation and crisp mouthfeel, dry on the finish. shp555 (1690), Atlanta, Georgia, USA

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 3, 2008 Pours hazy golden with a large sudsy uneven head. The aroma is sour with citric acid, lactic acid and some malt actually showing its presence. There is a bit of a household cleaner taste that somehow doesn’t offend. Medium body that has some bite to it. The carbonation starts off soft and then gives a crisp sharpness on the finish. The flavor starts with vinegar-like tartness, lots of graininess and lactic acid. There is a good amount of tartness to the beer, but not as much as a lot of gueuze and not very citrusy. The finish is clean, crisp, sharp and refreshing. The 8% of alcohol is nowhere to be found. This is not my favorite gueuze, but it is very solid. decaturstevo (2007), decatur, Tennessee, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 2, 2008 A very dry cardboard aroma. Golden pour with white gooey lace. Flavor is tart and smooth. Mouthfeel and carbonation is good. Overall good beer that is refreshing and clean. maeib (4760), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England

Typically saliva inducing delicious aroma. Funky and spritzy. Farmyards. The taste is funky and tart. Acidic and woody; perhaps too woody at first, but then it mellows. Nice, but I think I prefer my lambics with a litle less alcohol.
