Bottle at the ’Seventh Heaven’ in the small town of Beernem in Belgium, it took a while to settle to its golden colour with a frothy white head. A strong sour aroma with some grain and grassy notes. A very strong sour palate, filling the whole mouth with some cider flavours. But then became very smooth in the lingering finish. Good, but lacks a bit of character against some other lambics.

Clear deep golden colour with a dense white head. Malty, fruity and tart aroma with dusty and sweaty notes. Malty, sweet and tart flavor with notes of wood and sweat. Quite complex and refreshing.

375mL bottle, courtesy of artusory. Thanks, Ryan! Pours a hazy, orange-golden color; fluffy white head with great lacing. Very funky, tart citrus and horseblanket aroma. Medium mouthfeel: plenty of tart citrus and funk; lively carbonation, but without a really dense sour core; a slight metallic note in there. Medium, slightly tart and dry finish.

Hazy pale body with a large rocky white head, lasting cover. The nose is lightly sour with lactic acids, cheese, lemon and horse blanket. The flavor is moderately sour, lactic, grassy, tannic, a bit one dimensional and dull. Medium/light body with moderate carbonation and a bit of astringency on the finish. Decent, but not a perfect marriage.

Golden color with a super bubbly head. Slightly sour, musty, funky aroma with hints of grains, yeast, and . Rich, sour barnyard-ish flavors: sour orange/lemon, a slight bitterness, and a hint of spiciness. Really soft and pillowy mouthfeel due to the ample carbonation. Very dry finish. No trace of alcohol, although over time you can feel the "warmth". Pretty good stuff. Not really as complex as some other examples of this style, but certainly worth drinking.

Pours a slightly hazy dark yellow. Smells a bit like feet. Sour with a bit of sweetness. Some fruity ness of not so ripe apples and berries. Some wood towards the end. Dry and sour finish.

Bottle. Dark golden with a big, white head. Sour aroma of apples, berries and citrus. Flavour offers the expected sourness along with citrus, apples and a fresh sweetness and a sparkling palate. I always enjoy this beer.
