Bucknaked’s favorite syle happened to be in the fridge so shared this one at the Mesa Gathering. Yeasty sour aroma. Hazy gold body. Flavor was a good dose of tart and sour normal for this stlye. Dry aftertaste on palate.

Hazy honey gold color, with a big fluffy white head, leaving laces, dusty, dirty mustiness and barnyard nose, with a cheesy, brett wild yeast accent, a subtle floral hop leafiness, some wet oakiness notes, with a green apple sourness aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a nice tart, sourness character, with a dry, sour fruity note of rhubarb and a zesty acidic lemony flavors, a sharp oakiness, with a flowery grassy hop, leading towards a dry finish.

I love a good gueuze and this is a very solid example of the style. Typical sourness, especially in the aroma, the considerable dryness is complimanted by some nice citric maltyness.

Opaque orange-copper with a thin but lasting head. Intriguing aroma of sour, moldy oranges. Flavor is lemony, musty and dusty. Sour but mellow and deep. Refreshing, flavorful and excellent.

Golden with fine sprinkly off white head. Aroma has fruits (apples), yeast & sour vinegar. High acidicity with a first sweet then quite sour end. Earthy sour feel. Fresh & rather easy drinkable gueze!

Bottle. I must say, I am really becoming a fan of the geuze! This pours a hazy golden color with a decent sized chucky white head. Aroma is very crisp, with citrus, tart apples, slight funkiness. Flavor is also very crisp, with a good dose of fruitiness, funky quality and a fair bit of tartness. Wonderfully dry and refreshing! Would never have guessed at the 8%abv.

Bottle... This beer rocks!... Hazy golden ale with a large, rocky, white head. Great, small, creamy retention. Acidic, sharp cheese aroma with notes pale malts, musty funk and lemon juice. Solid malt backbone to support the heavy acidity and great bitterness to provide balance. Medium to full-bodied with a 2%-milk mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Pungent, tannic, dry finish. World class brew provided by boboski!

Rating #800! This is a beer that I have enjoyed on many occassions and was suprised when I recently noticed that I had neglected giving it a rating. I promptly purchased a bottle and waited for a day when I really needed some gueuze. Beer pours a hazy yellow color with a large and fizzy white head that resuscitates itself with every tip of the glass. Tart green apples are the first thing I smell but they only ride on top of fresh cut grass, musty funk, and wet sugar. Once again I get a sour apple taste on top of layers of funk and lemon peel. Tart finish is immediately thirst quenching and works wonders with the lively carbonation. 8% ABV is wonderfully masked and is no more apparent than it is on lambics in the 5% range. What a treat this is.
