Slight hazy yellow with orange hue and a beautiful white head. Apple, lemon, yeast and grape. Very fresh and bitter. Fine sourness and good structure.

2/24/07: Bottle.
Dirty orange-yellow body with a somewhat rocky, manila colored head which clings to glass – quickly diminishes – no lace. Aroma is barnyard, sour, wheat and dusty hay. Flavors include sharp cheddar, lemon, slight white grape – tart and sour. Finish is dry and a bit peppery. De-lish.

Valley Brew tasting Feb 2007 - Aroma is the best thing about this brew. Sour funky lemon dishsoap and horseblanket nose. Flavor is a bland dusty version of aroma. Palate is not very sour leaving just a little tartness behind. Not sure of the vintage or care given to this bottle, but the aroma and high ratings lead me to believe I sould try to get a different bottle.

This was poured from a bottle, poured a nice golden body with a very carbonated white head. The carbonated bubbles uniformally coming up from the bottom of the glass was mezmorizing (sp). Nose was that of a pixi stick or sweet tart. Flavor was relaxing now I can understand why people like this type of beer. Can’t wait to try different brews.

Bottle, 37,5 cl. Hazy amber colour with a small white head. Nice funky lambic aroma with grape fruits and I imagine a tone of coffee too. Acidic flavour with apples and other sour fruits. No hints of alcohol.

Bottle at Dilly Deli. Poured a pale amber color with a average fizzy head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Yeasty champagne aroma. Light body with lively carbonation. Light complex bitter flavor with a light sour finish of short duration. Very intersting brew, but not my style.

Bottle from Uto beer - Golden yellow with a thin white head. Sort of a grassy barnyard aroma. Combination of lemon lime and vinegar in taste. Tart with a long salty bitter finish. Not bad but not my gueuse of choice.
