Bright orange, next to no head. Cloudberry, cranberry, sour apple in aroma, cranberry also reappears in finish. Slightly sweet yet sour. With yeast: cider like, softer, less crisp.

Orange colour with a quickly disappearing head. Sour and metallic nose with some sweetness. Dry, citric, quite heavy carbonation. Too metallic for my tastes.

On tap (handpump I believe) at PP Carlsbad. Really cool to get this outside of the bottle. Aroma was really nice. Funk, must, yeast, with a hint of vinegar. Flavor was pretty bready, funky, but not as funky as the aroma, yeast with hints of fruit. Not overly funky. Extremely drinkable. Good stuff.

Bottle shared by Tom. Thanks dude. 2003 bottle. I’ve had this 2-3 times now and I must say its a little disappointing. Its not really that funky, or funky in a way that I like. Its more of that cobweb, basement, and band-aid funk and less of that vinegar, cheese, and sourness. Drinkable, but there are many gueuzes I prefer.

375ml bottle $9.49 at liquormax in Loveland. Hazy golden-orange color with a quite frothy white head. It smells like citrus and very briefly like manure. The taste is band-aid and rotting citrus fruit with mold. This wasn’t a bad beer but it wasn’t my cup of tea as far as gueuze goes. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 04-11-2009 21:20:39

Bottle, 2003. Look: Dirty golden. White head. Smell: Dirty. Somewhat sweeter then i’ve imagined, I definetely get vineager though, but also citrus cookies. Flowery. Taste: Not as sour as one would think. Serious tartness. Vineager. Also fruit, apple/pear. Bitter aftertaste. Some alcohol.

An amber coloured beer with a big, fizzy head. Bitter cherries and rosy apples on the nose. Tingly and delicate in the mouth. Sour and rosy. Flowery crab apples. A lovely little number heavy sherbert leanings.
