The color is orange and it has a fantastic head, and is very lively. The flavor is sweet, metallic, bitter, and bitter. It starts out as a sour orange, but then a the flavor of grapefruit takes over and lingers thru to the end. A great Gueueze - but I can recommend sharing a bottle. 2003 bottle, 6 years old, at ZBF09. Mild cellar aroma. Clear amber colour. The flavour is very mildly citric with a little mold and a distinct oak flavour. Tastes like a mild geuze lagered on used oak casks. Rather high carbonation. 8 3 7 3 16 oh6gdx (9104), Vasa, Finland
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 30, 2006 Bottled. Hazy nutbrown colour, not much head, but a bit white foam. Very sour aroma and flavour. My first thought when having this was that unless knowing what I drink I would have guessed for a Cantillon. Very pleasant, refreshing and smooth lambic. joergen (8635), Frederiksberg, Denmark
