Nose is floral hoppy and some dustiness. Mouth is quite sour with some mouldiness, and finishes very dry and long with some lasting lemoniness. Rather good actually. thomat (666), Göteborg, Sweden

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Sep 8, 2007 Pours a slightly colored golden brown with a big head that receeds somewhat quickly. Smell is extremely sour with a strong yeast presence. Flavor is not as sour as I would have expected considering this is the first gueuze I have ever had and that the nose was so sour toned. This is actually extremely drinkable and I like it quite a bit. It is thinner on the mouth and not very heavy at all. kramer (2510), Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 5, 2007 375 ml bottle. Pours a clear dark gold to light copper under a nice soap sud like fluffy white head that left lots of heavy lacing. The aroma does indeed reveal Oude Gueuze. A nice horseblankety, lightly cheesy funkiness, raw oak, light vinegar, acidity and metallic notes. The flavor is quite tart and acidic with vinegar, over-ripe green apple, bready yeasty notes, and citrusy grapefruit. Finishes with a musty cork and cellar funk that lingers quite a while. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with spritzy champagne like carbonation. A lingering, almost white wine like, dry oak and peppery finish. Overall, pretty solid, almost tastes a little young. Dribble-making oak/sherbety fruit aroma. Tangy lemon, mouldy tangerine, a touch of G+T dryness. Nothing like as harsh or acidically sour as some of the Oude Geuzes out there. Mellow and wheaty after the swallow. Really enjoyable. Enjoyit (1746), Vadum, Denmark
