Lemon, horse blanket, menthol, apple skin, nettle--a big, evocative aroma. Intense lemon flavor, aggressive sourness tranistions to a lingering quinine finish. The palate is perfection--so light and airy it almost evaporates off your tongue. What a nice beer. The heartburn was worth it. Thanks Fin! crazyvin (1254), New York, USA

Dark orange, lively tight head, stays for ever. Sour lambic aroma. Warming mellow woody taste - some oak. Also sharp and refreshing, quite grapey. Malty and part-bitter-part-mellow finish. Bosskie (108), Netherlands

SOUR!!!! First impression is only sour, sour sour.... like biting into a lemon, but after a while (about half the bottle) you get used to it and begin to discover some subtle woody tastes and smells. The palate feels very much like a French wine; a dry white one with a lemon and wooden-casket feel to it. Fun to try but not my kind of beer. Great for very hot summer days though.
