Aug 16, 2007 Bottle, with Fin, Loz and Traci. Yellow/amber, white head. Lemon, horse blanket, menthol, apple skin, nettle--a big, evocative aroma. Intense lemon flavor, aggressive sourness tranistions to a lingering quinine finish. The palate is perfection--so light and airy it almost evaporates off your tongue. What a nice beer. The heartburn was worth it. Thanks Fin!

Aug 16, 2007 hazy golden color with a thin white head, carbonation was present. Aroma was tart with an strong earth-like quality. Flavor was tart with mainly apples some grass/lemon notes in the finish. Gassy at times, but overall really good.

Aug 16, 2007 Tasted 2007-07-21. 5 years old, 75cl. Hazy, dark yellow colour with white head. Aroma of apples, citrus, pineapple and hay. Acidic taste of apples, citrus, barnyard - a little flat, but it doesn’t ruin the beer. Very good!

Aug 14, 2007 Slight hazy yellow gold hue, with a white head, at the unwire of the bottle, the cork came out by itself, nice tart, acidic apple fruitiness, with a good musty, barnyard accent, with a sour fruity rhubarb note, with a wet oaky aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a tart, sour, oaky character, with a musty, citrus acidic accent, with a rhubarb tartness, leading towards a lemony dry finish.

Aug 7, 2007 12 ounce bottle in pint glass. Pours opaque hazy amber with lasting dense off-white head and nice lace. Yeasty, bready, earthy aroma with faint tartness. Complex layers of tart flavors, horseblanket with a dry finish. Medium-light body, medium carbonation. Delicious, if not the most flavorful of the gueuzes.

Jul 30, 2007 Tasted@Akkurat, Stockholm: Very fresh and tart aroma with touch of cellar and citrus. At first feels simply refreshing and drinkable but then the lingering tartness appears. Nothing heavy duty but still very nice.

Dark orange, lively tight head, stays for ever. Sour lambic aroma. Warming mellow woody taste - some oak. Also sharp and refreshing, quite grapey. Malty and part-bitter-part-mellow finish.

SOUR!!!! First impression is only sour, sour sour.... like biting into a lemon, but after a while (about half the bottle) you get used to it and begin to discover some subtle woody tastes and smells. The palate feels very much like a French wine; a dry white one with a lemon and wooden-casket feel to it. Fun to try but not my kind of beer. Great for very hot summer days though.
