Dec 23, 2005 hazy orangish straw appearance with great lacing....aroma is of sour notes, honey, cheese, and sugars....flavor is very sour and tart...hints of baking soda and lemon...follows with some woody hints...great palate

Dec 15, 2005 Been wanting to try this style of lambic. Pours out a cloudy amber color with not much of a head, what was there was white. Aroma is very sour. Refreshign taste with a lingering citrus aftertaste, but I felt it was missing something, maybe I just don’t get this style of beer, none the less I can appreciate the flacor.

Nov 28, 2005 Orange and amber colour, white average head. Typical sour gueuze aroma, nice palate, sour but enjoyable. rather sharp aftertaste.

Oct 29, 2005 Updated: Nov 2, 2007Stoppered bottle. Pours with nice head and amber haze. Nice fruit on nose. Taste is sour, refreshing, nice mix of flavors with Brett horse blanket mixed in but not dominant. An excellent beer with a meal. Rerate: funky, a bit of nastiness that I’d call puke-like. Really disappointing this time.

Oct 24, 2005 Updated: Jan 5, 2008Bottle. Hazy orange/gold with thin white head. Sour nose. Good fruits in mouth with lemons and lime with more sourness. Finish is very dry with more lemon sourness. Good geuze. Very refreshing after a hard day at Notts beer festival. Farmyardy notes on nose.3.9/5 Re-rate 2003-2004. The aroma is really to die for, lemon sour, just phenomenal. That yeast is stunning. But rounded too. Slightly sweet, a bit like Girardin white label. Oh boy that is good.

Oct 20, 2005 Really exciting style. Perhaps my favorite belgian style so far. Yum yum yum. The sour-ness is really pleasant. This beer is still not quite as sour as the un mixed lambic I had at the World Beer Festival, but it’s close. There are some really nice fruity notes here. Substantial head. Body is cloudy amber. Aroma of spice... This is really exciting stuff. I can’t wait to try more!

Oct 17, 2005 Bottle at The Comet in Cincy. Poured an amber color with a average fizzy head. Yeasty champagne aroma. Light body with lively carbonation. Light complex bitter flavor with a short finish. Very intersting brew.

Oct 11, 2005 Vintage 2001-2002. Another very nice gueuze. Long lasting head and wondefull color. The aroma you smell when the bottle popped open was sweet. Just my beer
