Commercial Description:
Geuze, a mixture of old and young Lambic. The young Lambic is added to cause a refermentation in the bottle making for a delightfully sparkling and dry beer that has been likened, in all seriousness, to Champagne.

Pour is pale ruddy golden with a big bubbled off white head...smell is straw and funky horseblanket with a hint of sour drifting in...taste is definately dry and funky with lots of musty and dirty flavors...some strange bitterness comes on just before the swallow where some faint tartness comes out...decent, bot not amazing

Pours hazy amber with a big bubbly head. The aroma is musty and funky, with apples and cherries in the background. The first sip starts out slightly sweet, then finishes with a champagne-like dryness. There’s more apples, funk, horseblanket. The carbonation is a bit distracting and bites at times. This is my first gueze, and I have to say it grew on me as I finished my glass. Looking forward to trying this one again.

Very fresh bottle, i think maybe a year or two on it. Pours a champagne body with a huge explosive white rocky head. Lemon citric acid, some subtle dry woody tart lemon with low acidity. Lactic acid and some woodiness rounds this one out.

(Corked bottle.) Truly golden color with a creamy head. A lot of acidity. Tastes like lemon and bitterness. Good geuze.

Bottle. Poured a clear golden color with a 1/4 inch thick white head that faded to a thin layer. Aroma of tart citrus (orange and lemon, light peach), some funk (barnyard and horse blanket), and a moderate yeastiness (some cobweb). Tart, lightly funky entry leads into a sour (lemon and hints of grapefruit), funky barnyard yeastiness with some cobweb and horse blanket that finishes with a kiss of oak. Soft carbonation. A solid geuze I could drink pretty much any time.
