Bottle. Pours a murky red-brown body with a small creamy white head. Jammy raspberry and cherries in the aroma along with some mineral funk and oak. A little too sticky sweet for my tastes when it comes to this style...certainly there was a tart constituent but it didn’t really step up to the table. A rather good dose of earthy, oaked flavours though.

28.04.06 Bottle dated 05.10.202(5)?, the last number was hard to make out. Hazy cranberry color with a fluffy pink head that lasts. Aroma is pure funk, more funk, some brisk cherries with stems and pits, and more cheesy funk. The stuff is full of wood, barnyard, and acetic flavors, with an afterthought of dry/tart cherry, and then majorly drying astringency. Whew, this stuff is fun, but not for a whole glass.

Very sweet and fruity as expected. I actually expected it to be sweeter and was pleased at the mildness of the flavor. Hard to compare against other Lambic as this was one of my first.

Pours red in color with a big white head. Smells like cherries, and sourness. Pretty good, not as sour as I was anticipating, but its pretty good. Not bad, very driinkable. I like this.

Dark red colored, medium sized pink head. Fine sourness with medium dryness and cherries. Medium bodied. Also strongly sour flavor with dryness and cherries. Fine lambic.

375 ml bottle, 2000 vintage, sampled in 2006. Red, towards pink. Light pink head, lots of carbonation. Lots of lambic in the aroma.. Sour, aggressive and funky... lots of flavours going on here. I can’t help but thinking that the cherries have mellowed over the years. Really dry throughout. Still puzzled over this beer style...
