Cask at ZBF08. Good sourness in aroma. A little moldy too. The flavour is not as sour as expected or hoped. OK, but not fantastic. Hazy golden colour, no head.

(3/1/08) Cask sample at Zythos Bier Festival 2008 in Sint Niklaas. Hazy golden with a bit of foam but no real head. Citrusy, funky barnyard aroma. Sour flavor with wood, some citrus and hints of sweetness. Good solid lambic.

2008-03-01. headless amber body. Modestly funky aroma, mildly musty. Lightly sour muted hay and grains, sour-tart fruity overtones linger in the finish and aftertaste. (6+) Average to light palate is effectively still and uncarbonated. Cool to try but not overly exciting.

ZBF2008: From cask. Pours slight hazy orange with no head. Aroma is mild woody, slight acidic and dry. Flavour is smooth and fruity, slight dull but flavourwise nice and smooth. Ends light and mild fruity, minor apple like note.

From the barrel at ZBF 08. Hazy gold wih bubbly ivory head. Quite woody. Good acidity, but really quite mild. Not exactly dusty, but towards that way. Bit of farmyard. But it’s fuller than some lambics.
