| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Apr 3, 2007 Bottle... AWOL ’07... Clear yellow lager with a tiny, fizzy, white head. Subtle, peppery, yeasty nose. The flavor leans on the sweet side of balance, but not by much. It’s bland and barely medium-bodied with fizzy carbonation. However, it’s fairly refreshing and I suppose that’s its goal. Short, crisp, lightly sweet finish. BückDich (4857), McCall, Idaho, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Nov 8, 2005 Clear gold with no head. A funky corn, rice or other adjunct nose with musky hop. Light flavor with a watery tail, sweet but unbalanced with underwhelming bitterness. The finish is pale, light, watery, boring. Meh. PorterPounder (3148), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Aug 22, 2004 Updated: Aug 25, 2004Rerate After finishing most of the sixth of this - I'm a little less impressed - does not sit well near the end, bad aftertaste. Original 2.0 Pours with a thin, soapy white head sitting on top of a light golden pour, decent bubble action. Expected wet cardboard aroma delivers with some back end peppery notes. Flavor is at first crisp but that is probably because I chilled it to near freezing. Typical cheap lager flavor but lacking the adjunct corny flavor that the macro big boys have. Goes down rather smooth, I have to admit.it. I know it is just a gimmick beer but I’m slumming for ratings - so I’ll try anything! harlequinn (2745), Tacoma, Washington, USA

This literally looks like water, and let me tell you, if I was to turn on the drain while this was going down, I could not distinguish the tap water, from the beer coming out of the can. There is absolutely nothing to this beer, no flavor profile, except perhaps some dirt and grass, very vegetal, but carbonated and cold. Nuffield (2728), Roseville, Minnesota, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Feb 6, 2005 Wow, a special treat from the great state of Florida...er, Wisconsin. Yellow lager with a good bit of head. Heavy adjuncts of corn and perhaps rice give it a solid sweetness and some false hints of grape. Fizzy. Drinkable in a bad beer way, but really poor for quality. Thanks to Matt’s mom for bringing this from Florida! nick76 (2688), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | May 3, 2005 I really can’t tell much difference between this one and the bootie light. The only negative thing about it is the corn and vinegar aroma. Very clear and pale yellow in color. Small head. Flavor is weak hops and corn but nothing about the taste is offensive. Just blah. Dry finish. Aurelius (2654), Tallahassee, Florida, USA

This tastes like King Cobra Lite -- all the bad taste, without enough alcohol. Corny smelling, pasty tasting, thin. I can’t wait to try to Bootie Ultra. Damn these dry spells when I'm not travelling.
