Very dark red with a white foamy head. Vdery carbonated and fizzy. Decent, but not great

Very mildly mild mild sweet aroma in this guy with hints of sourness. Dark copper transparent color with a light tan head. Thin and watery to start with hints of roasted malts in the middle. Finishes lactic and thin.

A BEERLOVER'S APOCALYPSE PART 2: THE IRISH VALIANTLY TRY TO SAVE THE DAY

I walk into the establishment (fake wood outside, jutting out of a chain motel) and the first thing I see is a video game room, full of kids. Tempted to find something to play; would that I had spent an hour here rather than in the floor above! Up half a flight is the "nightclub" where proper dress is required (in Plattsburgh?? I'd be surprised if you could find a suit & tie in this grimy dying postindrustrial wasteland). The bp is airy and spacious, with good window views of...McDonalds, Wendys, the interstate, etc. OK. Gambling is heavily promoted here; hey if I lived here I'd be spending every penny on escapism too, and I'd rather do it in a casino than this sad travesty of a "brewpub". I order the sampler, the waitress just takes off before I have a chance to ask for water or anything.

Slight pepperiness, malty, caramel, a bit of actual hop bite, good body. I wouldn't make a real effort to have this again, but its quite drinkable.
